2009 Life Time 10K to be Peachtree 10K Qualifier!

 

At 7:00 AM on March 1, 2009 the Alpharetta Half Marathon & The Life Time 10K will take place in downtown Alpharetta, GA. This year's event from Alpharetta will showcase the inaugural running of the Life Time 10K, which will serve as a qualifier for the July 4th running of the Famous Peachtree Road Race. Another first for the 2009 event from Alpharetta will be the finish line for this year's event. This year the Alpharetta Half Marathon and the Life Time 10K will finish from the Alpharetta location of Life Time Fitness. Life Time Fitness is the leader in Health & Fitness throughout the country and is located at 855 North Point Parkway in the heart of Alpharetta.

Last year 961 runners signed up to run the Alpharetta Marathon & Half Marathon. 105 runners traveled from out-of-state‚ and a few came from out of the country to participate. Runners came from states including Wisconsin, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, Missouri, Indiana, California and even the country of Nicaragua.
